Take a Practice Exam

August 12, 2016 Sofia Morales

If you're new to using ExamSoft, it is recommended that you become familiar with the student exam experience. Taking a practice exam will allow you to understand what your exam takers will see and help you provide support and guidance to your exam takers on exam day.

Note: When you create an account using the instructions below, it is in a demo portal and not your institution's portal. Please be careful to prevent mixing up your login credentials.

Step 1: Visit www.examsoft.com/training and click on "New User Signup", as shown below:

Step 2: Fill out the required fields, agree to the terms, and your account will be created. Please create your Student ID as a combination of your first and last name (i.e. Sam Jones = SJones).

Step 3: Login as an Exam Taker, Download SofTest and complete installation steps

Step 4: Launch SofTest and register using the following information:

  • Institution ID: Training
  • The Student ID and Password you created in Step 2

Step 5: Select "Secure Movie Trivia Practice Quiz" or "Nonsecure Movie Trivia Practice Quiz" from your Exam List and click Download Exam.

Note: The secure practice quiz will close all open applications and lock down your device during the quiz.

Step 6: Enter exam password examsoft123 and start your quiz!
